What you'll need

  • Online form (bot-protected; could not be loaded from our test environment, HTTP 403 challenge)
  • Fields reported by third-party guides: full name, street address, city, state, ZIP, email, phone (unconfirmed first-hand)
  • CAPTCHA
  • Email verification: unconfirmed (third-party guides conflict)

Step by step

  1. Search thatsthem.com for your name, phone or email and note exactly which address, phone and email your listing shows.
  2. Go to thatsthem.com/optout.
  3. Fill in the form using the details exactly as they appear on your listing.
  4. Complete the CAPTCHA and submit.
  5. If a verification email arrives, click the link in it.
  6. Re-search after a few days to confirm the listing is gone.

Tips and gotchas

  • Spokeo's own opt-out does NOT cover ThatsThem: Spokeo's California registry filing says an opt-out at spokeo.com/optout covers 'all public Spokeo websites except Thatsthem.com' and directs consumers to thatsthem.com/optout.
  • Third-party guides warn the form matches on the exact identifiers shown on the listing; use the published phone/email even if outdated (unconfirmed by first-party source).

Broker opt-out processes change often. If a step above no longer matches what you see, the broker's own opt-out page is the authority.
